Intimate - If you want to know what it feels like to be part of a comedy show without actually being on stage, this is the spot. You are right in the action. It feels like maybe 55 seats, and the stage is barely higher than where you’re sitting, so the whole room feels connected. At one point I made an off the cuff comment from the back to my friend, and it carried right to the comic. She caught it, leveled up the joke, and absolutely killed with the follow up. That kind of closeness makes the whole night feel live, unpredictable, and way more fun than a bigger venue.

Looked this place up for something to do on a Sunday evening. Tickets were very inexpensive and had a line up of 5 or so comedians which were working on and trying out some new materials along with some crowd work. Some of them were local and some were visiting from elsewhere. A few of the comedians that evening were part of the Just for Laughs show that was on that weekend on Grandville Island which was perfect because we were initially wanting to go to that show but it ended up being sold out. Luckily we found this place and were able to see some the same comedians at a discounted price even. It was a great evening. Had a lot of laughs. Great way to end our trip.
