I went to The Comedy Zone Friday night 2/27 to see Jess Hilarious. The show was advertised to start at 9:00, and we stood outside in the cold until about 9:30 before being seated. That was fine, no big deal. Once seated, I ordered about $75 worth of food and drinks. The prices are definitely not cheap, so I expected decent service. Our food actually arrived before our drinks. Thankfully, we did receive a bottle of water, and the food itself was pretty good. The issue was with the drinks. People who ordered after us were served their drinks before we received ours. The show was almost over by the time our drinks finally came out. That’s not acceptable, especially when you’ve been waiting nearly an hour. I spoke to both the waitress and the manager. The waitress said they were short-staffed. The manager told me to “look around” at how many people were in the building. That response is the main reason I’m writing this review. I understand when businesses get busy and mistakes happen. But as a manager, you acknowledge the issue and make it right. You don’t make excuses or dismiss the concern. Drink orders should be handled in the order they’re placed. Someone who ordered 10 minutes ago should not be served before someone who ordered an hour ago. Overall, I did enjoy the show and I’ve been to The Comedy Zone several times before without any issues. This was my first bad experience. I’ll probably attend again because I do enjoy the venue, but I hope the service improves. For the prices being charged, better organization and accountability are expected.

My husband and I were visiting from out of state and got recommend from the hotel we stayed at. Was a spontaneous trip and had a great time we will definitely be back. Great vibe absolutely loved the place The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was we were first in the door, one of the first to have our order taken. (A soda and cocktail and order of chicken nachos) and it took almost a hour to receive our drinks, never got our food. We will definitely be back had a wonderful time just hopefully get a different waiter next time.(other waitress were on point just were in a section where we they didn't serve us)
