The club runs two shows nightly, seven days a week, with a lineup that is never announced in advance — you pay for the room, not a specific comedian. That policy is the reason the best comedians in the world use it as a workshop. The room seats approximately 110 people at small cabaret tables with a clear sightline to a brick-wall stage. A two-item minimum (food or drinks) is enforced. The club also operates the Village Underground at 130 W 3rd Street, a slightly larger room with the same booking philosophy. Tickets are released on Monday mornings for the following week; weekend shows sell out within hours.
