I can’t say enough good things about Westside Improv! I’ve taken all five levels of improv here, and after my very first class—filled with so much fun and laughter—I knew I had to keep going. The teachers are open, welcoming, smart, and absolutely hilarious. They create such a supportive and encouraging environment during classes. There’s truly a sense of community here—laughter abounds in every class and every show. As someone who was new to Wheaton, Westside made my transition to the area a wonderful one. It’s more than just an improv theater—it’s a place where you feel like you belong. Jeff and his staff are genuinely delightful, and catching a show is always fun and hilarious. Such a lovely and unique place in the heart of Wheaton. Highly, highly recommend!

Whether you are looking for a super fun night out or a super fun community of good people, Westside is the place. I first went to see an improv show there shortly after COVID with friends when I was desperate for some laughs and human connection. The vibe in the room was warm, welcoming, and genuinely joyful. I laughed harder than I had in a long time, and I left thinking, I need more of this in my life. So I signed up for their Level 1 class. Two years later, I’m still there. Yes, I love doing improv, it’s creative, energizing, and a stretch in all the best ways. But even more than that, I’ve stayed for the community. The people at Westside are wonderful, funny, intelligent, and generous. There’s an atmosphere of encouragement and support that makes everyone feel brave enough to get out on stage and make others laugh. It’s rare to find a place that is both incredibly fun and deeply grounding at the same time. Westside Improv Studio is that place. Highly recommend.
