I’ve performed and headlined at a lot of clubs, and this one truly stands out. This is a woman-owned comedy club that is run with integrity, professionalism, and a genuine love for stand-up. The owner is very funny and talented herself and works incredibly hard to create opportunities for comics while also maintaining a great experience for audiences. That balance isn’t easy — and she does it well. The last television spot I did they made sure to show this wonderful club. The staff is organized, respectful, and supportive. The room is intimate in the best way — great energy, engaged crowds, and a space where comics can really do their best work. As someone who has headlined here, I can say firsthand that the club treats performers fairly and professionally. It’s disappointing to see online narratives that DO NOT reflect the reality of what actually happens inside the room. Anyone who’s spent real time here — performers or audience members — knows the truth. This club is about comedy, community, and giving people a stage. If you care about supporting independently owned, woman-led businesses that are genuinely building something positive in the comedy scene, this is a place worth backing. I’m proud to perform here and always look forward to coming back.

I had an amazing time at The Hollywood Comedy. The room is intimate, the staff is welcoming, and the lineups are packed with strong comics. The Hollywood Comedy is truly the batting cage for comics in LA, a place to get real reps in every single day. All of us comics need stage time, and this club actually delivers it with constant mics and shows. Huge thank you to Jiaoying Summers for creating a space that champions diverse voices and gives comics the stage time we need to grow. I’ll definitely be back
