The Elysian is an independent comedy theater and nonprofit at 1944 Riverside Drive in the Elysian Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles. Opened in 2021 in a century-old building on the Echo Park/Frogtown border, the 525-seat theater focuses on developing comedic voices — from inclusive open mics to work-in-progress shows to one-person shows and experimental comedy. It's the Eastside's home for outside-the-box comedy, clowning, variety, and plays.
