The only alternative music venue in Knoxville. The sound guy is mediocre at best. (if you are performing here, you'll want someone you trust to stand near the bar and give directions and adjustments) Tight venue space, amazing crowd, amazing bar staff.
The Pilot Light is one of the few remaining gems of performance spaces remaining in the southeast, or anywhere at this point. If you live in Knoxville or are just visiting, you haven’t completed your time here without visiting. It stands on its own as one of the best music venues in the country.
