Found inside the same building as Mr Tiempo and Cielo. You’ll find a small yellow door leading to the third floor where the waiting area/bar is. I’ve always wanted to come here, but the first time I came here was during a picture friend event. I like how they have two set ups of course I was confused and thought the small little lounge area was the actual place, but you get led into the doors of an old movie theater that converted into a stage theater. They have happy hour specials and popcorn available. There’s always a two drink minimum at these comedy shows. So make sure you order your drinks in theater unless you want to drink before and after.

Pretty neat little comedy club. The show takes place on the third floor of what used to be a movie theater, so the vibes and aesthetic for this place give a cozy dive bar feel with all the neon lights and refurbished decor. I live in downtown so I decided to pop by last minute and see what this place was about since I’d seen it on Instagram and my other plans had fallen thru. Also, keep in mind, I made my visit during a music festival and baseball game weekend, meaning it was very slow, so I’m not sure if this is how they typically are. The service was great, the bartender and server I had were super kind and the comics were pretty good. However, I paid to come see the show and then when I arrived at the door, they were trying to give me free tickets… so I was like wait, why did I pay then 😅 then when I asked about it, they said they’d comp a couple of my drinks, but never did. And when I got seated in the showroom, I ordered fries and they came out cold and limp, which was pretty disappointing. **So a couple pro tips if you’re planning on stopping by: • Walk around the Gaslamp first to see if they’re handing out free tickets before purchasing them online (most of the time you can purchase cheap tickets right up until the showtime). • Ask about the specials at the bar before getting seated for the show (I sat next to a man that got popcorn at the bar and then got seated for the show and was told there was a drink and popcorn special he could’ve gotten instead, and the bar purchases do not count towards the two item minimum that comes with the free ticket). • Eat before hand, prices can be steep (common for the area, not just here).
