Hyena's Comedy Nightclub Albuquerque

The Hyena's Comedy Nightclub in Albuquerque turned out to be an awesome venue for a great night out. We went on a Saturday night and the location was easy to find and in a very convenient area at the Uptown Albuquerque location. The upper portion of the venue was misleading, but as we were led downstairs, we were amazed to find a whole underground club complete with an immense lobby, small inner-city bare area, and adequate lounge area. The restrooms were large and clean. The host employees were really welcoming. About 15 minutes prior to the show start, we were led into the adjoining showroom. Finding a table was a breeze as the host asked for our preference of seating, then led to seats to fit. A great seating method that had everyone seated with ease. The show requested a two drink minimum which was easy since the drink menu had a very nice selection. The food options were good although we decided on drinks only. The bill came out to $45 bucks for a beer, a mixed drink and 2 bottled waters. It was a little pricey, but fairly expected for a drink minimum event. We sat fairly close to stage but no matter the seat, it seemed any would have given a great experience. I would definitely chose Hyena's again! We had a great night out.

Don't know why this is rated as low as it was, we came to see Steve Byrne last night and had a great time. It's not a huge room but it also is nowhere near as crowded as everyone saying. They either haven't been to a lot of comedy shows or this place has been changed and there's more space between the tables now. The show was great, the sound was great, the service was relatively quick but pricey. Somebody said that you sit with your knees against the stage, for that to happen your knees would have to be about 1 ft off of the ground, physically impossible. We'll be back
