I came here Friday night to see Marlon Waynes. I was shocked that they let us in more than 30 minutes before the show started and the way they sat us down was very organized. The place itself looked clean and the service was great. Our waiter came by within minutes to take our order. This time I only had the Mint, Don’t be a Menace Strawberry Mojito in a fishbowl, which was refreshing and delicious. I love how they created a special drink menu around Marlon Waynes. This time around I did not eat. The only thing I do not like about Improv, is the two drink minimum. I understand having that minimum when the tickets are free, but if you’re buying the tickets and the minimum is forced upon, it can be annoying because it feels forced. Other than that, the experience here was great. I came again to watch another show and this time I tried some food. I ordered the truffle fries and fried mozzarella sticks. The truffle fries were crispy, delicious and flavorful. However, the fried mozzarella sticks were not good. I couldn’t even finish one. To drink, I just had the Angry Orchard Apple Cider, which was tasty. The service was great and the show was great.
Fort Lauderdale Improv is such a great spot for a fun night out. The comedians always bring real laughs, the energy in the room is amazing, and the whole experience feels effortless and entertaining from start to finish. Whether it’s big-name acts or up-and-coming comics, the shows never disappoint. The venue is clean and comfortable, the staff is organized and friendly, and the food and drinks come out quick. The seating gives you a good view no matter where you are, and the vibe is perfect for date nights, birthdays, or just a night where you want to laugh until your stomach hurts.
