Funny! Not hilarious cackle-laugh stuff, but definitely still a good balance of silly and amusing. We went to the 7:00 Saturday show. It was very interactive, the humor was all clean and kid friendly, and the actors were all super outgoing and brilliant at their work. It’s set up in the style of a competition, each team playing different improv games to try and score points on their performance. There is also a referee who introduces the actors, segways all the new sections, and does the majority of the audience interaction. Ours was called Dave or Dan. He was very funny and had a witty, almost dry sense of humor. The venue is a black box theater with a small stage, and then chairs set up all around. There are drinks available for purchase from vending machines in the lobby, but there’s no service.

We braved a snowstorm to see this funny, talented improv team for the first time, and were glad we did! The cast did a terrific job of engaging our audience of kids, adults and seniors. We were impressed with the actors' creativity: they created cool puppets, in advance, from 5 random pieces of trash. Then, they ad-libbed funny skits with these puppets, based on audience suggestions. We discovered that CSZ has been going strong in Philly for more than 40 years. They have won international comedy competitions too. The Adrienne Theater where they performed was a great venue, with broad tech capabilities and good acoustics.
